It is the goal of the Board of Assessors to fairly and objectively appraise all tangible real and personal property located in Floyd County at market value annually for ad valorem tax purposes and to provide the best customer service in doing so.

NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS

Notice to Floyd County Property Owners and Occupants: In accordance with O.C.G.A. 48-5-264.1, please be advised that the Floyd County Assessors' Office may be visiting your property to review your parcel information. This visit may be the result of new construction, a return filed, an appeal filed or an application filed for exemption. The appraiser who reviews your property will have photo identification. Please make your property available so we can make an accurate appraisal.
