Search All parcels in Union County have
a geographical "section, township and range" common to all parcels in that
square mile area. These numbers originate from a boundry marker in Tallahassee
and refer to the Square mile area were all or most of the parcel
is found.
For example, for parcel
number: 30-05-20-11-025-0100-0 , to
search sales in that same section, you would use the search terms
"30 05 20" , found on
the data page . Actually, you can do this automatically right from
any parcels data page. Use the following County Section map as an
area guide when searching for sales.
You may also search by either subdivision
name or subdivision number. The subdivision number is the 8 digit code
that takes the first 8 positions in the parcel number sequence.
For example, for parcel number: 30-05-20-11-025-0100-0
, to search sales in that same subdivision, you would use the search
term "30-05-20-11".
To search
by subdivision name, just enter the name or the portion of the name you
know to be correct (remember, "less is more" for finding a successful match).
For example, if unsure of whether the name is "Pine Bluff" or "Pine Forest",
just enter the search term "Pine" and you will be prompted to choose from
a list of subdivisions containing the term "Pine" .
