2026 ASSESSMENT NOTICES
Mail Date: June 8, 2026
Last day to file an appeal: July 23, 2026
To file an appeal, Search Records to find your property,
Then click "Appeal to Board of Assessors" button.

Per Georgia Code 48-5-311, the Tax Assessors Office has 180 days from the receipt of your appeal to review and notify you with any changes in the values or to advise you that no change has been made and your appeal will be transferred to the Clerk of Courts for next steps.
Notice to Property Owners and Occupants
In accordance with Georgia Law (OCGA 48-5-264.1), please be advised that a member of the Spalding County Appraisal Staff may visit your property to review or update property
information. The purpose of this visit may be in response to one or more of the following: a return was filed, an appeal was filed, recent improvements or additions were made
to the property, a change in zoning, a general review/update of parcel information, exempt property application,
conservation use application, or decal inspections.
Please be advised that Field Appraisers will be conducting general field reviews of the City of Griffin and throughout Spalding County, including Heron Bay and Sun City.
The field appraiser will have a photo identification badge and will be driving an appropriately marked vehicle. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not
