While the legal description correctly describes the location of the parcel, the location address in some cases may be incomplete or incorrect. As these secondary reference addresses come from a variety of sources over time, the Assessor's office is constantly updating this information.
Should you encounter an incorrect or incomplete location address, please forward this information to our office and we will verify and update it for the next tax roll. We appreciate your help!
Search Tips
This search
utilizes a literal match search based on a string of characters finding
an exact duplicate (or duplicates) in the index .
Thus, submitting "king" (no quotes) would result in matches with parcels that have in their addresses "kingsberg", "Viking" and "kingerson" as well as "king".
We suggest users use the "less is more" approach at first, but it is possible to run more exact searches once familiar with the general format of the location address data.
Most are in the form of :
number
directional
streetname
street type (all
delineated by a space)
Or
2684 w
elm
st
Using the above example, "2684 w elm st" (no quotes) would find its match in the index. So would "elm" ,"elm st" and "2684 w elm".
It would not find its exact match using "2684 elm" (because the directional "w" is not in it's proper place) or "elm street" (because "street" does not match with "st").
Most directionals and street names are abbreviated in standard form.
If you experience problems using the more descriptive forms of an address, try again using the most common term you know is correct (like "elm"). You will have a greater number of returns, and a greater chance of finding the parcel you are seeking.
Feel free to contact the office in the event you cannot find a certain parcel and we may be able to locate it by another method. In some cases, when the owner or exact address is not known, it may be necessary to come into the office and point the parcel out on a map to correctly identify the parcel you seek information on.
