INSPECTION PERIOD FOR 2024

The Laurel County real property tax roll will be opened for inspection from May 9th through May 23rd, 2024. This is the January 1, 2024 assessment on which state, county and school taxes for 2024 will be due about October 1, 2024. Any appeal must be filed with the county clerk’s office no later than one work day following the conclusion of the inspection period on May 24, 2024.

It explains the property tax process, the tax calendar, assessments, tax rates and the billing process.
