The Jackson County Tax Commissioner's Office is located in the Jackson County administrative office building. The entrance to the office is behind the Regions Bank in Jefferson, GA, on Gordon Street.

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. We are closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and two days at Christmas.

The Tax Commissioner's Office in Jefferson is the only location in Jackson County for handling motor vehicle transactions and the billing and collecting of mobile home, timber and property taxes for the County.
