RJ Morris, FultonTaxAssessor@yahoo.com, very much desires to hear from all taxpayers concerning County assessments as he is a dedicated Homeowner Advocate.  However Morris also says, "Everyone benefits from an educated society and everyone likes to drive on roads without potholes, therefore we must work hard to make sure those vital needs are funded while striking a delicate balance with our taxpayers' ability to fund them."  Morris began his Real Estate career in the legal field, eventually moving to the investment side.  This led him to work with the Georgia State Legislature resulting in the passage of bills benefiting all property owners concerning the State of Georgia Property Tax Code.  Mr. Morris is also a firm believer citizens should volunteer to help their government and their community.  He has been on many neighborhood associations, to include being a founding member of the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood business association.  One of his proudest achievements though was the new Freedom Barkway Dog Park, as he and his wife Melissa are both animal lovers living in the Old Fourth Ward with their "kids", Champ and Chili Morris, rescues from the Fulton County Animal Shelter.   Mr. Morris encourages all Fulton Citizens to visit the Fulton County Animal Shelter due to the high number of rescue animals in need of a loving home, go to  www.fultonanimalservices.com For more information regarding the Board of Assessors, contact S.
