The 2008 Assessment notices were mailed on July 11, 2008. The last day to file an appeal is Monday, August 25, 2008. Appeals may be filed in person at the Tax Assessors office or by mailing a letter to the Tax Assessors stating the owners of the property, map/parcel number and reason for the appeal or an appeal form may be downloaded from this website and mailed to the Tax Assessors office.

Appeals must be based on value, taxability, or uniformity.

Applications for Homestead exemption must be submitted before April 1, 2009 for tax year 2009 The land owner must apply in person at the tax assessors' office.
Bring documents substantiating your residency.

This is our first year mailing notices and bills to your new 911 address. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have your correct address. If you fail to receive your assessment notice or tax bill because it was returned by the post office for a bad address, you will not get an extension to file an appeal or pay your taxes. Please check with our office to ensure we have your correct address.
