All parcels in Calhoun County have a geographical ''section, township and range'' common to all parcels in that square mile area. These numbers originate from a boundary marker in Tallahassee and refer to the square mile area where all or most of the parcel can be found.
To search by subdivision name, just enter the name or the portion of the name you know to be correct (remember, ''less is more'' for finding a successful
match). For example, if unsure of whether the name is ''Pine Bluff''
or ''Pine Forest'', just enter the search term ''Pine'' and you will be prompted
to choose from a list of subdivisions containing the term ''Pine''.
The subdivision ''Number'' is the first ten digits in a parcel number. This number is common to all parcels in that subdivision. For example, in parcel number
03-34-25-0390-0000F-0007, 3-34-25-0390 will be the subdivision number common to all parcels in that subdivision.
Parcel numbers with ''0000'' are not in subdivisions and can be searched using the Section.
